Remembering when Chris Eubank Sr became a Police Officer in America while wearing a bow tie as former British fighter appears on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories
The former middleweight champion is currently serving as a police marshal in Louisiana
Chris Eubank Sr. posted a rather odd video of himself on Twitter in front of a car crash working as a police officer in America back in December 2018.
The former world middleweight champion entered into the realms of law enforcement during his tour across the US as he lectured on peace.
The 52-year-old was made a certified law enforcement marshal, working with members of law enforcement in Opelousas, Louisiana.
Eubank toured the Deep South, giving lectures on how to ‘peacefully defuse difficult situations’.
The Brit posted a video on his own Twitter account at the scene of a car crash whilst wearing a multi-coloured bow tie with his badge and uniform.
He captioned the post: “Sergeant Eubank proudly on duty in Louisiana. All warriors protect and serve, whether one wears a badge or not.
In the video he says: “This is simply a car crash – doesn’t look too bad, no injuries, but I don’t have a rain coat like the rest of the officers, but that’s okay.”
Eubank would frequently wear a police sheriff badge when he attended his son’s fights and sparring sessions as he vowed to protect and serve the boxers in the ring.
What’s Eubank up to now? Well, the former middleweight appeared on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories on Thursday night.
Eubank broke down in tears as he recalled the fight that almost killed opponent Michael Watson in September 1991.
